My KiennaCUP lid doesn't close - what can I do to fix this?
All you need to do is place the KiennaCUP in a cup of boiling water for one (1) minute. This will loosen up the plastic and allow it to close. Every now and then this happens with our KiennaCUPs and unfortunately it is difficult to avoid - thankfully there is a simple solution!
Are the Kienna Pods made in Canada?
Yes, all our blends are made from the finest specialty grade coffee beans from around the world. All our coffee is roasted and packaged at our facility in Calgary, AB. Canada.
What brewers is the KiennaCUP compatible with?

Can the Pods be composted?
Yes, the filter paper and coffee grounds will go right into your compost bin. Even if you don’t compost, you are making a better choice in throwing pods into the landfill.
How does the Kienna Cup go into my Keurig Brewer?
Once you have placed the pod in the Kienna Cup, this is now ready to be placed in your brewer just as you would any K-cup.( don’t remove the K-cup holder as you would for ground filter devices)
What machines do the Kienna ESE Pods work in?
ESE Espresso pods DO NOT work in single serve coffee pod brewers including, Keurig, Tassimo, Nespresso, Breville, Cusinart, Mr Coffee, Melitta 1:1, My Invento, Cuisinart SS-1, Krups 1010, Senseo, Bunn, Gourmet Cafe, Black and Decker, etc.
Almost all home espresso machines will work with E.S.E. pods, generally using the machine's "espresso pod filter basket" or “espresso pod holder”. Please see your espresso machine for pod usage specifications or contact the manufacturer directly.
How many uses can the Kienna Cup be used for?
The Kienna Cup has an expected life of over 5000 uses. If any issues occur and this is not the case, let us know and we will replace it for you.
Can I recycle the outer packing of the pods?
Yes, the wrap is #7 plastic.
Can the Kienna Cup go in my dishwasher?
Yes the Kienna Cup is dishwasher safe and is made with food safe plastic that will handle very high temperatures.
Is the Kienna Cup recyclable?
Yes, the Kienna Cup is completely made from #5 food grade Poly Propylene and is BPA Free.
Why is the coffee weak? (It looks like tea)
The Needle of the Keurig Brewer is not piercing the filter paper of the pod-
Place the pod in the adapter shaped like a round ball. Don’t press the pod down; let the lid of the adapter push the pod down.
